There’s a special little lady in my life…
Her name is Jessie-Rose. She is my little cousin!!
Jessie-Rose is 10, turning 11 in October.
October is a looking to be a big month for her, as she & her family are travelling to Melbourne for her fourth heart surgery.
Jessie-Rose was born with multiple heart defects; her heart was back to front and upside down.
As you can imagine this is a stressful time for all involved, emotionally and financially.
To help ease the financial burden there has been a fundraiser started for the family to assist with the costs of being by her side in Melbourne. Hopefully for just a short time but these things cannot be predicted or planned for!!

A once-off raffle, with the prize being a TWENTY class pass to Mindful Movement Mat Pilates Classes

1. Every ticket is another chance to win
Each $10 raffle ticket = 1 entry into the draw.
E.g…$10 = 1 entry · $20 = 2 entries · $50 = 5 entries

2. A 20-class pass is up for grabs !!!
One lucky winner will receive a 20-class pass to Mindful Movement, valued at $220 AUD.
That’s twenty opportunities to move, stretch, strengthen and feel re-connected to your body and your self.

3. Keep it or gift it
The 20-class pass is fully transferable, so you don’t have to be into Pilates yourself to enter.
If you win, you can keep it for yourself or give it to your mum, sister, brother, partner, friend… whoever you think would love it.
(Please note, the prize is transferrable, but not redeemable for cash) -
4. Your contribution directly supports Jessie-Rose's family
It will help with the very real costs of travelling to Melbourne and being there with Jessie-Rose for as long as she needs them , whether her hospital stay goes exactly to plan or takes a longer than anyone hoped.

5. Entries close Monday 5 October
You can purchase raffle tickets up until Monday 5 October 2026.
After that, entries will close and we’ll get everything ready for the draw the following day.

6. Winner drawn Tuesday 6 October
The raffle will be drawn on Tuesday 6 October 2026.
The winner will be contacted by email that day and announced on Mindful Movement with Mikala’s Instagram.

No, unfortunately raffles aren’t considered tax-deductible donations because your contribution gives you the chance to win a prize (a 20 class pass !!!).

The 20-class pass is fully transferable, so you don’t have to be the Pilates person in your household to enter.If you win, you can keep it for yourself or give it to your mum, sister, brother, partner, friend… whoever you think would love it.
